Inflammation of the bronchi

There are several simple homeopathic remedies that can be used to treat bronchitis. For their effective use, it must be remembered that they are used to treating certain combinations of symptoms that each drug itself causes in a healthy person.

Kalium bichromicum. Chronic bronchitis with tenacious, stringy expectoration. Breath extremely offensive. Cough with white mucus, viscous as pitch. Great dryness of the mouth and lips. The patient coughs up elastic casts. Loud wheezing in sleep.

Cough on undressing and on waking, after eating. Itching behind the sternum causes an attack of bubbling cough. Tongue covered with thick yellow coating. The taste is strongly coppery or bitter. Lots of very viscous saliva.

Antimonium tartaricum (Tartarus emeticus). Capillary bronchitis with gentle crepitating rales. Cough with difficult expectoration. Worse lying down. Better after expectoration in sitting position. Abundance of viscous bronchial secretions. Nausea and vomiting with shortness of breath. Worse after taking milk and sour foods. Acute gastroduodenitis. Drowsiness.

Shortness of breath with suffocation. Diarrhea with vomiting and prostration. Worse in cold and hot weather. Wheezing breath. Hot head bathed in sweat when coughing. Suffocation in the elderly. Rumbling of mucus in chest. The patient cannot expectorate sputum. Mucus from the bronchi is not expectorated. Noisy wheezing. The skin of the face is pale and cyanotic.

Senega. Loose, rattling cough. Dry cough in chronic bronchitis in the elderly. Dry cough with aphonia from cold air. Worse morning and evening, from motion. Pleural effusion in pleuropneumonia (Bryonia). Hydrothorax, ascites and anasarca. Mouth dry.

The tongue is white or yellow. Great thirst with loss of appetite. Better outdoors and after perspiration. Increased secretion of saliva. Bad breath. Watery diarrhea. Urine, with a greenish tinge, gives a cloudy sediment. Weakness of vision with flickering before the eyes. Twitching in the eyeballs, with loss of sight.

Silicea. Cough with offensive mucopurulent expectoration. Ulcers on the nasal mucosa secrete a bloody fluid. Dryness in the nose. Inflammation of the Eustachian tubes, with intolerable itching. Tonsils suppurate in rickety children.

Phellandrium aquaticum. Tuberculosis with offensive sputum.

Capsicum. Bronchitis with offensive breath. The sputum is not expectorated.

Phosphorus. Bronchitis in tall, stooping, thin people with sunken chest. Cough appears when warm weather changes to cold. Dry, tickling cough from irritation of the larynx, with trembling of the body. Bursting pain in head (Bryonia). The lungs seem to be constricted in the upper third.

Pix liquida. Bronchitis with purulent sputum with a foul odor and taste. Tuberculosis.

Caladium. Asthma. Erection is absent in overweight patients with flaccid muscles. Nocturnal loss of semen, with relaxation of the genitals.

Guajacum. Tuberculous, with stinking, mucopurulent sputum.

Eriodictyon californicum. Bronchitis with night sweats. The body is emaciated. Does not tolerate food well. Tuberculosis. Asthma.

Pothos foetida. Asthma from dust.

Dracontium. They act on the trachea and bronchi. Bronchitis with mucopurulent sputum. Yellow purulent sputum with a strong burning sensation.

Balsamum peruvianum. Bronchitis with mucopurulent sputum. Loud wheezing. Sputum is thick, yellowish-white. Night sweats and debilitating fever.

Ipecacuanha. Bronchiolitis in children in wet weather with much mucus. A large accumulation of mucus in the bronchi leads to suffocation. Difficulty breathing from an abundance of mucus in the bronchi.

Cantharis. The mucus in the bronchi is very viscous.

Arsenicum album. Violent morning cough. Choking when walking in open air. Dry cough during exercise. The cough wakes the patient at night. Shootings on coughing in chest and abdomen. When taking a deep breath, there is a sharp pain on the left side of the chest. Dry persistent cough after midnight.

In the morning, after tea, short cough. Dry cough after twitching in thigh. Forced to sit up at night when coughing begins. Heat in head when coughing. Cough in cold open air. Coughs while drinking and after drinking.

Argentum met. Pain in larynx when coughing, but not when swallowing. Coughing up watery sputum. When bending, sputum enters the larynx. White, thick, tasteless and odorless sputum is easily coughed up. Short bouts of violent coughing during the day. Annoying short hacking cough without expectoration in the morning.

Sanguinaria. Heat in chest. Constant cough with great emaciation.

Asarum. Angry before coughing. Mucus rises up the throat and makes breathing difficult. Inhalation irritates the throat and causes coughing. Wheezing at the beginning of the cough. Dull pain in both lungs on inspiration. Left nostril blocked.

Violent sneezing and flow of clear fluid. Breath and saliva are hot. Expectoration of large quantities of sputum when coughing. Great dyspnea at night. Breathing in short bursts due to constriction in the larynx. In the right pulmonary lobe, acute pain on inspiration.

Chamomilla. Dry cough from itching in the trachea. Hoarseness with dryness of the eyelids. Burning in larynx. Violent dry cough during sleep. The child gets angry and then coughs. Hardening of the mammary glands.

Stannum. Bronchitis with copious green expectoration. Better lying down and from heat. Profound exhaustion of the entire nervous system. He climbs well up the stairs, but faints on the way down. Reading aloud or talking is very tiring.

The pain gradually increases and slowly subsides. Worse in the evening, when at rest, from cold, from talking and from motion. Responds reluctantly and briefly. Tongue yellow, thickly coated. Bad breath. Throat hurts when swallowing. Can’t eat well.

Hepar sulphur. Strong wheezing. Wheezing, loose cough with noisy breathing. Cough, aggravated by cold air.

Iodum. Dry, barking cough. The patient grabs his throat. Pale cold face.

Spongia. Dry wheezing cough. The cough is like the sound of a saw. Croup begins in the evening from a cold, dry wind. Croup is accompanied by high fever, agitation and fear.

Bromium. Violent rattling without expectoration. Suffocation from accumulation of mucus in the larynx.

Kalium bromicum. Formation of films in the throat and larynx.

Aconitum is called “homeopathic vitamin C” because it is often used at the first symptoms of an infection (respiratory infection, flu, sore throat, ear infections, bladder infections).

It is indicated when symptoms come on quickly and intensely. As a rule, there is a high temperature, intense thirst and restlessness. The illness may begin after cooling or after a sudden fright, anger or shock.

Belladonna is useful in various types of infections when a person has a fever with reddening of the skin and mucous membranes, with heat radiating from the body. Senses are heightened: aggravation of symptoms from noise, touch, light or shaking. The patient is delusional and has vivid dreams (children will say that they see ghosts or scary things).

Pulsatilla is more often given to women and children for various infections. It is useful for people who are very emotional, moody and want sympathy. They have no thirst, even with a fever.

They feel worse in a warm room and want to be outdoors. If they have a cold or cough, then the mucus is thick, yellow or yellow-greenish in color. Symptoms worsen at night.

In the earliest stage of bronchitis – Acon is prescribed; white tongue, constipation – Bry, perspiration – Merc; symptoms worse towards evening – Ipec;

Capillary bronchitis in children – Ant-t; slimy and sticky mucus, Kali-bi. Spasmodic cough, keeping sleepless at night – Ars. Bronchitis with great debility – Ars-i.

Mild, dry cough during sleep – Acon. Spasmodic cough at night keeps the patient awake, ending in an eruption of scanty sputum – Ars.

Cough, as from tickling with a feather in the throat; constant tickling behind the sternum, causes a chopping cough; cough during and after eating – Calc.

Cough from rawness in the larynx, worse at night in bed before going to sleep; violent spasmodic cough with copious expectoration of mucus – Sulph.

Spasmodic cough between 2-3 am, chest pains – Kali-c.

Cough on waking, in the morning, first with expectoration, then dry, worse on entering a warm room, sharp pains in the chest – Bry. Dry, hacking cough from tickling in larynx – Alum.

Dry cough with shortness of breath, from tickling in the throat; caused by talking and bending over; violent cough ending in vomiting, blood in sputum – Hep.

Irritable laryngeal cough, worse in the evening, red, hot face and shining eyes, caused by tickling in the larynx, as if from dust; a feeling of soreness in the larynx, is noticed when pressing on the larynx from the outside; shortness of breath – Bell.

Dry, hoarse cough in small paroxysms, helminthic symptoms – Cina.

Bronchopneumonia: Phos; often accompanied by coryza – Sang; with copious yellow expectoration – Hep, Puls.

Chronic cases with constipation – Sulph. Cough at night – Nit-ac; in old people with cold extremities – Carb-v. Am-c. Seneg; with leakage of urine – Caust.

Spasmodic cough – Rumx; lying down – Hyos. Dry cough at night – Con. Croupous bronchitis – Kali-bi.
