Homeopathic remedies for gangrene

Tissue necrosis

Secale cornutum. Dry gangrene of the toes in old people. Seizures. The hands are clenched into fists, or the fingers are spread wide. The muscles of the face convulsively twitch. These muscle twitches start in the face and spread to the whole body.

The abdomen is drawn in. Urinary retention. The fingers are blue-black. Causes uterine contractions. The drug acts more strongly on the pregnant uterus and on the uterus of women who have given birth.

Arsenicum album. Dry senile gangrene with burning. Better from hot compresses (Secale vice versa). Carbuncles and boils with small holes. Cutting, stitching pains after midnight.

Ranunculus bulbosus. Gangrene with fever and delirium. This is an extreme picture, but it may occur after prolonged exposure to certain species of buttercups (Ranunculus). Erythema. Vesicular eruption with burning. Pinching and itching. Pleurisy with sharp stitching pains in the chest.

Strong anxiety. Dyspnea. Fear (Apis, Bryonia or Sulfur). Intercostal rheumatism. Pain when touching a muscle. Bruised, as if the muscles were crushed.

Gangrene complicating wounds – Lach. Senile gangrene – Sec.

Great general oppression, cold extremities, bluish skin, burning in ulcers – Carb-v.

Restlessness, anguish, extreme prostration, thirst, burning pains – Ars.
