Severe headache attacks

Sanguinaria canadensis. Migraine with nausea and vomiting. The pains begin in the occipital region and focus on the right eye. Pulsating pains. The patient cannot bear any sounds or smells. The slightest concussion worries the patient. Pain in occiput like flashes of lightning. Right-sided headache begins in the occiput.

Unilateral nausea headache; pain coming from the back of the head and going into the right eye, relieved by lying down and sleeping, with bilious vomiting, pain in the teeth and ears, pain in the limbs, electric shooting in the head and trembling (profuse menstruation). The pain increases and decreases with the movement of the sun.

Iris versicolor. Migraine appears periodically from stress. Pain throbbing above the eyes. Fog before eyes at the onset of headache. Migraine begins with blackouts in the eyes and is accompanied by sour vomiting. Pain in the lower orbital and dental nerves. Migraine with acidity in the stomach. Pain over the eyes on one side.

Headache beginning with a blur before the eyes; dullness, heaviness or throbbing and shooting in forehead and right side, with nausea, vomiting and great oppression. A migraine begins with a blur before the eyes. Headache on the right side of the forehead.

Despondency. Nausea in the evening from cold air or coughing. Biliary vomiting or vomiting of sweetish liquid. Throbbing pains in forehead or right temple, with nausea, sour or bilious vomiting. Gelsemium sempervirens. Migraine with shivering and polyuria. Anxious. Convulsions with trembling. Irritable. Slow pulse. Worse insolation. The pain goes from the back of the head to the forehead. Flu fever. Dull, severe pain in the head, especially in the dome. Beating in the temples, heavy eyelids, with dim vision, dizziness. Better with continuous movement. Visual impairment before migraine.

Weakness and trembling of the limbs. Gait disturbance. Worse in wet weather. Sensitive. Worse before a thunderstorm. Better outdoors. Better after copious urination. Headache with sensation of a band around the head or across the forehead. Headache with pain in eyes when moving them. Red face.

The eyes are filled with blood. The upper eyelids are raised with difficulty. Speech is difficult. The language is inflexible. The patient answers questions slowly. The child wakes up nervous. Dull severe pains in the head, especially in the vertex, with throbbing in the temples, dizziness.

Drowsiness is replaced by convulsive movements. The face twitches. Severe loss of strength. Parts of the body are very painful. The patient cries out when moving. Chill in the back. The tongue is coated white or yellow. Constipation. Yellow chair. Congestion in the portal vein (Nux vomica).

Sepia. Pain over one eye of a beating nature. Terrible blows of pain make the patient’s head tremble. Worse from long, fast walking. The pains return in jerks, with heat in the head and darkening of the eyes. Heavy eyelids. Yellow face. Penetrating, tearing and throbbing headache, chiefly in the forehead or over the frontal tubercles; aggravation of pain at the slightest touch, causing the patient to moan.

Nausea and vomiting are worse from the slightest movement; better when kept quiet; desire to sleep in the dark on closing the eyes, and sleep comes soon, and after that after a while the headache stops. The lean patient cannot bear light, noise, or movement. Gouty headaches in the morning with nausea and vomiting (Nux vomica). Monthly scanty.

Amyl nitritum. Migraine and neuralgia with prostration and tremor. Violent headaches in forehead. A yellowish spot with a yellow rim and a blue-violet halo appears on the wall. Sharp pains in eyes from sunlight, with lachrymation and sneezing. The eyes are bulging. Great rush of blood to the face. Pulsation in the ears. Champs, as if chewing.

Belladonna. Migraine with throbbing of the carotid arteries and redness of the face. Aching sensation in lower part of forehead when stepping on foot. The patient is forced to close his eyes from a headache above his eyes. Throbbing pain in right side of head. Intolerance to light and noise. Feet are cold and head is hot.

Relief when sitting propped up. Severe aching pain under the right frontal tubercle. In forehead and temples, fullness and throbbing, heavy drooping eyelids, dazzling or light glints; flushed face, hot head, burning sensation in the eyeballs; aggravation of all symptoms from light, noise, motion or lying down, better sitting.

The pain is somewhere deep, constricting and dull, and the face is pale and wild, insensibility, incessant talkativeness, mumbling, drowsiness. Sensation of enlargement of the whole brain. Headache in forehead relieved by bending head down. Headache with extreme constriction of the pupils and very low voice.

Pressure and throbbing in left side of occiput. The pressure in the temples turns into a strong pulsation. Pain goes from the temple to the right eye. Headache over eyes prevents opening of eyes and compels to lie down. Aching pain under frontal tubercles in the morning. When coughing, tearing sensation in head.

Throbbing in forehead on waking. Pressure in right temple. Pain in forehead when moving in open air. The pain goes from the right side of the head to the ear. Stops walking because of pain in forehead. Drawing pain in right side of forehead. Obese patients cannot stand light and noise.

Bryonia. Headache worse from motion. Eye movements aggravate the pain. The pains shoot through the eye to the occiput or vertex. The pains are aggravated by the slightest movement of the head or eyes. Glaucoma. The pressure in the eye is greatly increased. Hot tears flow from the eyes. The pain breaks the head. The pain is aggravated by the slightest movement. Even opening and moving the eyes causes a headache.

Burning and pressing pains in the head; when stooping, it seems as if something were sticking out of the forehead, worse walking. External tearing, extending to face and temples; or pressing, burning, tearing in small areas. Worse from hot weather. Photophobia and decreased vision. The pain starts from the forehead and goes to the back of the head. The pain is worse in the morning and after fits of great anger.

Oily perspiration of the head with a sour smell. Tearing, crushing, pressing headache in the forehead, in the eyes, relieved by pressure, greatly worse from bending down, causing a sensation of the brain falling out; nauseating headache, right sided, with nausea and bilious vomiting.

Lithium carb. Pain in vertex of head and in temples on waking. Pain in the eyes with delayed menstruation. The pain goes from the left temple to the eye. Better while eating and worse after eating. Diseases of the joints. Erythema with itching around the joints. Rash on the face.

Glonoin. Headache from wine. Flushes of heat to the head, with throbbing pain. Better from cold and open air. Pulsation throughout the body. Better by constricting the head. Fluctuations in blood pressure. Sudden onset; blood rushes to head, with violent throbbing. Headache from sun or heat, violent throbbing, aggravated by motion, flushed face; tearing headache.

Worse, shaking head; the pulse is fast, the face and eyes are red, or the eyes are shining, and the face is pale and moist; buzzing in the ears; headache from sun heat. Worse from motion and alcohol. Hypotension. Worse in a warm room. Worse from insolation. Worse with head down.

Acidum fluoricum. Migraine from red wines.

Antimonium crudum. Headache after swimming in water. Worse from alcohol, sour, fatty, and fruits. Worse from sour wines.

Zincum. Stinging, tearing on sides of head from wine and after eating. Pain and weakness in the occiput. Pressing pain in vertex of head after dinner. Inflammation of the meninges. A haggard and pale face. Chronic headaches with melancholy. Dry nose. Muscle twitching during sleep. Restless movement of the legs.

Petroleum. Throbbing headache in occiput.

Cimicifuga. Headache from insomnia, mental exertion or restlessness, pain in vertex, occiput and eyeballs.

Juglans cathartica. Acute occipital pain.

Carbo vegetabilis. Occipital pain with bilious attacks (Nux vomica).

Oleum animale. Migraine with profuse light urine (polyuria).

Pulsatilla. Scanty periods. Bursting, stabbing and stitching pains on one side of the head. Blurred vision. White tongue with nausea and vomiting. Stickiness in the mouth.

The pain is dull, compressing only one-sided; languishing and weakening; feeling as if the eyes were sticking out; starting at the back of the head or at the base of the nose and going backwards; worse from pressure and sitting, better walking. The head is heavy; eyes filled, dizziness, agitation, inclination to cry out. Relief from cold air. Pains changeable with chilliness. Worse in the evening.

Nux vomica. Drawing, tormenting sensation in head, as if a nail were hammered. Pain from coffee and alcohol. Migraine from wine, coffee, mental stress and sedentary lifestyle. Migraine starts in the morning and subsides in the evening. Migraine with blurred vision and sour, bitter vomiting. Nauseous headache in persons who are lean, constipated and sedentary.

Natrium muriaticum. Bursting headache. Headache, like beating of little hammers. Worse from moving head and eyes. Oily perspiration on the face with a sour smell.

Chilliness with icy coldness of hands and feet. Aversion to bread and meat. Fullness in the stomach after a small meal. Blisters on the lips and ulceration at the junction of the lips.

Headache begins with chills, aggravated by fever. Headache, beginning in the morning after rising, and remaining most of the day; is when coughing.

Every morning he wakes up with a violent tearing headache. Bitter or salty taste. Bullous eruptions on the lips during fever. Rash around the mouth. Wasting of the neck muscles.

Cyclamen. Sensation: As if the brain were shaking and trembling when walking.

The scalp on the right side is painful to touch. Painful spot on occiput. Pressure over the nose and in the forehead is replaced by a tearing sensation in the occiput. Pressing pains in the temples.

Shooting headache with every step. Pressure on left eyebrow. Confusion in head after eating. Aching pain in occiput and occiput. Hair falls out of the head.

Actaea racemosa. Pain in the neck. The patient cannot turn his head.

Aurum met. Headache, like a cold. The headache increases in the morning and disappears about the afternoon. Headache from thinking and reading. Pain in the temples passes in the open air. Unilateral headache worse from coughing and tilting the head back. Headache from speaking and writing.

Violent shootings in vertex when coughing. Looks like they’re pulling out the hair at the back of the head. Jerking pains in left temple. It looks like a nail has been driven into the temple. Sweating around midnight gives way to exhaustion. Shooting headaches in left temple.

Shooting headaches on stooping. Tearing pain in left temple when walking in open air. Burning in vertex and neck. Shootings in the forehead. It seems that the head was pierced with a knife from left to right. Shooting pains in the forehead when looking up, with heat in the face and thirst.

Intolerable headache when getting up and sitting down. Tearing pain in left eyebrow. Goosebumps on the forehead and above the eyes. Purulent pimples on the periphery of the forehead. In the evening there is a dry heat in the face and goes beyond the ears. Heat without thirst, with very cold nose.

Ferrum met. Knocking like hammers, throbbing pains.

Capsicum. People are afraid of air, movement, chilly, especially after drinking; phlegmatic sluggish faces, easily bearing insults; obstinate, clumsy, awkward children; throbbing headache or drawing, tearing, protruding. Headache on coughing, as if skull had been crushed; aching dull headache.

On coughing, as if the skull would burst. Constant pressing headache above the root of the nose, with pain in the ear and eye. Stitching headache. Worse walking or moving; itching at rest; aggravated by movement of the head, eyes, and stooping, as well as in open air and cold.

Kalium bichromicum. After a headache, vision deteriorates. Headache over one eye, especially right; before darkening of vision. With the onset of pain, vision improves. The sore spot can be covered with a fingertip.

Kalium carb. Nauseous headache or migraine; drawing, tearing, pressing pains, intolerance to light, disturbances in vision.

Cocculus. Headache with nausea and vomiting. Weakness of the neck muscles. The patient cannot hold his head upright.

Dulcamara. Migraine and stiff neck after a cold.

Sulphur. Shooting, tearing pains with heat, chiefly morning and evening; nausea, worse outdoors, worse in room, intermittent; hair loss and skin rashes

Causticum. Migraine. Pain in the neck and throat. The muscles of the neck seem to be connected. The patient cannot move his head.

Lachesis. Left-sided lesion in general, especially throat, chest, ovaries. Sensitivity of the neck to touch or pressure. He can’t even stand the touch of the sheets. In case of heat, the patient unbuttons clothes in the neck.

Clothes are suffocating. Burning parietal pain during cessation of menstruation. Headache from the sun. The patient is afraid to fall asleep because she will wake up with a painful headache.
