Bed-wetting
Mercurius. Enuresis. Symptoms worsen at night. Children needing Mercurius are sensitive to small changes in temperature. They sweat at night and drool on the pillow. Bad breath and metallic taste in the mouth. The child may be shy.
Baryta carb. Enuresis. Recurrent tonsillitis and tonsillitis. Between throat infections, their tonsils remain enlarged. Swollen lymph nodes in the neck. They lack self-confidence. They are very anxious and need constant reassurance. Furthermore, they are often diagnosed with Attention Deficit Disorder, but without hyperactivity.
Cina. Enuresis. Milky urine. Itching of anus at night. Antiparasitic drug (Santoninum). Spastic lesions of the larynx in children with helminthiasis. Hives. Chorea in children with helminthiases. Ferrum. Enuresis. Urine dark red with mucous sediment. Leucorrhea like watery milk. Chronic cystitis and urethritis. Watery diarrhea in children after eating and drinking, without pain or straining. Stool watery, undigested, painless. Before menstruation, ringing in the ears and discharge of long clots of mucus from the uterus.
Menses profuse, face fiery red. Diarrhea of undigested food without pain. Chronic constipation. Better from exercise. Violent itching of the vulva in frail, weak women with a fiery red face. Tuberculosis in young people. Hemoptysis, better walking slowly. Cold in bed all night. Sweats at night while sleeping. Worse in the morning when sitting still and from noise.
Ferrum phosphoricum. Bed-wetting. Nosebleeds. Worse at night. The initial stage of inflammatory processes. Better from cold compresses. Hyperemia and hemorrhages without inflammation. Troublesome dry cough with urinary incontinence. Preferential side: right.
Hyoscyamus. Involuntary nighttime urination. Strong thirst. Yellow, watery and involuntary diarrhea. Involuntary passage of stool and urine. Hysterical spasms and laughter before menses. Speech is difficult and slurred due to the cessation of secretion. Convulsive trembling during menstruation. Nymphomania with a tendency to exhibit. Postpartum mania with desire to undress. Flatulence of the intestines, with attacks of diarrhea and colic. Better stooping and getting up and sitting.
Hydrocyanic acid. Involuntary urination. Feeling of emptiness in the epigastrium. Hot flushes during menopause. Epileptic form of epilepsy. Asphyxic form of uremia. Urinary retention in Asiatic cholera.
Secale cornutum. Enuresis. Isolation of black blood from the bladder. There is a precipitate in the urine that looks like white cheese. Retention of urine with unsuccessful urge to urinate. Bleeding with spasmodic contractions of the uterus. Menstruation is frequent, profuse, prolonged with prolonged contractions.
Amenorrhea in thin, lean married women. The skin is dry, brittle, no blood is released when cut. Hemorrhagic blisters on limbs. Black, suppurating blisters. The limbs are pale, cold and wrinkled. Excessive, offensive sweat. Frostbite. Dry ulcers on limbs and back. Wounds bleed for weeks. Cold, clammy sweat. Worse during menses, during childbirth and at night. Smallpox pustules filled with bloody serum.
Ammonium carb. Involuntary urination during sleep. Metallic taste in the mouth. Apathy and drowsiness. Enlarged tonsils. Urine intensely colored; or large amounts of pale urine. Strong hunger. Diarrhea and vomiting during menses. Menstrual blood is irritating. External genitalia swollen and itchy. Bloody stool during menstruation. Pain between shoulder blades. Leucorrhea, acrid and watery. Yellow spots before the eyes in pregnant women. Right mammary gland, painful to touch.
Psorinum. Bed-wetting. Stools are watery, dark yellow, offensive, smelling of rotten meat. Involuntary stool after acute illnesses, teething, and change of weather. Diarrhea alternates with constipation (Silica).
Belladonna. Frequent urge to urinate, with scanty urine. Difficult urination. Yellow cloudy urine. Urine comes out only in drops. Bright yellow, clear urine. Urine with thick white sediment. Violent itching in rectum and anus. Hemorrhoidal bleeding. Involuntary passage of stool. Urine golden.
Clear, lemon-colored urine. Fair children with blue eyes, thin hair. Involuntary nocturnal urination, twitching in sleep. Urine flows out in drops. Salivation. The tonsils are bright red and swollen. Toothache from cold air and mental exertion. Tendency to constantly swallow. Thick and swollen upper lip.
Dryness in fauces with difficulty in swallowing. During each stool, the face turns red. Involuntary passage of stool. The chair is liquid, yellow water. Sexual instincts are completely lost. Persistent uterine bleeding. Acute diseases of the mammary glands.
Causticum. Significant improvement in summer and worse in winter. Causticum is a useful remedy for numerous bladder problems, including enuresis. The child may wet the bed, dreaming about urination. They can be sensitive to cold and drafts. They feel better in rainy, cloudy or damp weather.
The child can be very sincere and sympathetic and have strong feelings about justice or environmental issues. They can become stubborn idealists. They may have stuttering and obsessive tendencies to check and recheck tasks.
Rhus tox. Constant leakage of urine due to a weak bladder.
Ignatia. Epilepsy from fright or sadness. Erections when trying to stool. Extreme flatulence in hysterical women. Tendency to frequent, scanty stools (Nux vomica). Haemorrhoids. Prolapse of the anus. Hemorrhoids fall out with every stool. Copious urination of clear urine in hysterical women. Sexual attraction with impotence. Frequent and profuse menses. Dry hoarse cough in the morning, with sulfuric fumes in the throat. Chills. During fever, there is no thirst.
Kreosotum. A person urinates when he dreams of urinating.
Borax. The child urinates at night because of fears.
Argentum nitricum. The person is very restless and nervous.
Natrum muriaticum. Urinary incontinence. Dryness of the vagina and pain during intercourse, with aversion to sex. Many symptoms are worse from direct or bright sun and about 10 am. Thirst or dislike of salt. Symptoms develop after grief, the person feels sad but unable to cry.
Apis. Urinary incontinence. Better in cool weather. This may be due to bladder infections, with severe burning pain when urinating. People needing Apis feel worse when it’s hot. They are jealous and want to control everything.
Sepia is a very important remedy in older women when incontinence is associated with a feeling of prolapse of the uterus. Itching and inflammation of the vagina. Chilliness, sensitivity to cold.
Nux vomica have frequent urging but are unable to empty the bladder completely. Like Sepia, they are cold and sensitive to cold. Their symptoms are aggravated by overwork, drinking alcohol, overeating, tobacco or coffee. They can be impatient, irritable and pedantic. They work very hard.
