Menses are irregular, heavy, or scanty

Pulsatilla suits soft, gentle and obedient women. Changeable mood. She cries for the slightest reason. Menses late. The patient is better in the open air. Weak thirst. Acne during puberty. Irregular and intermittent menstruation. Pulsatilla blushes easily and feels worse in a warm, stuffy room. Late and scanty menses in anemic patients. Chilliness with discouragement. Sobbing with imaginary anxiety. Amenorrhea in impressionable blondes of mild temperament.

Cyclamen is prescribed for heavy, painful and irregular periods. Migraine with blurred vision and vertigo, before and during menstruation. Depressed, with a feeling that she did something wrong and that people are judging her.

Cimicifuga. Shooting pains from the ovarian region, extending up and down the front of the thigh. Painful menstruation with spasmodic pains. Spasmodic pain increases with increased blood flow. Pain from the lower abdomen goes up or down the thighs.

Chamomilla. The pain is debilitating. Profuse, dark menses, with nervous symptoms. Pain during teething in infants. Strong impressionability and irritability. Purulent, yellow-green and bloody sputum. Hydrocephalus. Aversion to animal food and meat. Menses too frequent and profuse. Perspiration of the head and coldness in the legs.

Gelsemium. Delayed menstruation and drowsy, lethargic state. Dysmenorrhea, with headache.

Aconitum. Uterine bleeding. Rage at menstruation. Menstruation does not come from a cold. Delayed menstruation after strong mental shocks, for example from fright. Copious, sticky, yellow leucorrhea.

Lycopodium. Irritability before menstruation. Blasphemy (Anacardium, Nitricum acidum, Arsenicum, Hyoscyamus, Lilium tigrinum, Nux vomica, Tuberculinum). Impatient and indifferent children. Children don’t play. Diseases from fear and rage. Hypersensitivity to pain (Chamomilla). Skips letters. Pronounces words incorrectly. Can’t find the right word. Talks about abstract subjects, but gets confused in ordinary matters.

Glonoinum. Delayed menstruation and throbbing in the head.

Ignatia. Menstrual colic. The pains are relieved by pressing down, lying down and changing position. Menstruation is dark.

Platinum. Menstruation is profuse and too early. Dark, clotted blood comes out with spasms and pressure in the uterine region. Convulsive clenching of the jaws, with dyspnea. Numbness and itching at the root of the nose.

The pains increase and disappear gradually (Stannum). Melancholy. Hysteria with fits of laughter or crying. Itching of the genitals causes nymphomania. Prolapse of the uterus (Aurum). Purulent inflammation of the ovaries (Hepar. Lachesis). Redness of the face and delirium (Belladonna).

Crocus. Menses of black clotted blood, with pain and movement in the abdomen.

Juglans regia. Menstruation starts too early and consists of black clots.

Cocculus. Menstruation starts seven days earlier. Uterine bleeding. Beli. Uterine spasms. Dark periods. Pain in the lower back and sacrum. Menstrual cramps are accompanied by severe bloating. Convulsive cramping pains. Marked weakness. The patient is barely standing. The limbs tremble when the patient begins to walk. Emptiness in the chest and abdomen.

Aloe. Pressure in the lower abdomen and in the rectum. The stool is passed with more winds. Regulus early, very abundant, dragging on for a long time, pressing on the rectum. Hemorrhoidal lumps, like bunches of grapes. Better from cold water.

Alumina. Menses scanty and late. The patient is pale, weak and tired. Beli plentiful.

Natrum muriaticum. Scanty menses. Anemia. Aversion to men and sexual intercourse (Sepia). Pregnant women are afraid that the child will be born ugly. Annoyance over trifles. Indifference. Throbbing and pressing pain in the head (Belladonna). Violation of vision. Headache in the morning, chilliness, depression, constipation.

School headaches. Migraine. Twitching of eyelids. Herpes on the lips. Dry, wrinkled skin. Pale, yellowish, greasy face. Cracks in the lower lip. geographical language. Thirst. Desire for salt. Aversion to fat. Desire for bread. Aversion to bread.

Kalium carb. Very bad a week before menstruation. Extreme sexual desire with ejaculation. Menses early and profuse, with great soreness of the vagina. Yellow leucorrhoea, with great burning and itching. Dry cough at 3 am.

Violent stitching pain under left breast. Better from motion, from warmth, from wrapping up the head, and from warm open air. Stitching in left shoulder blade when breathing. Jerking pain in the back. Violent chill towards evening. Internal heat and external chilliness with dyspnea. Copious night sweats. Worse in the morning, from cold and at rest.

Hyoscyamus. Profuse menstruation with delusional chatter. Delay of menstruation. Menstruation starts on the 14th day. Sweating during menstruation. Incessant loud laughter before menstruation. Impotence in men.

Castoreum. Menses very painful with pallor and cold sweat. Profuse accumulation of upward pressure gas.

Belladonna. Pain in abdomen and blurred vision before menstruation. Increased discharge and delayed menstruation. Menstruation starts four days earlier. White and colic. Perspiration on chest, yawning and trembling during menses. Anxiety in the region of the heart and great thirst during menstruation. Uterine haemorrhage with foul smell.

Veratrum album. Dysmenorrhea with vomiting and diarrhea. Dry and chapped lips. Lead complexion, with frequent nausea and vomiting. Nymphomania from unsatisfied desire. Face and mouth, cold as ice. Nosebleed on right side at night. Worse after drinking or ice cream, before and during stool. Dry mouth. Profuse cold clammy sweat on stool. Cholera. Worse on rising.

Silicea. Menses very irregular (Pulsatilla). Constipation before and during menses. Discharge of white fluid from the uterus instead of menstruation. Nipples ulcerate easily. Icy coldness in feet during menstruation. Dense nodes in the mammary glands. The nipples are drawn in.

Belladonna is helpful in painful periods with intense and sudden pain. The pain intensifies, begins and stops suddenly. The face becomes hot and red. Menses are bright red, profuse, and often come early.

Magnesia phosphorica helps with painful menstruation relieved by heat. Pressure relieves back pain. Menses dark, viscid, and too early. The pain is worse on the right side. The pain is worse at night and from cold.

Nux vomica is indicated for pain with diarrhea. A chair temporarily relieves pain. Heat also relieves pain. Chilliness accompanies pain. The patient becomes irritable and easily angry. Menses are irregular and prolonged.

Lac caninum. Pain begins with contraction of the uterus due to hormonal disorders.

Coffea. Dysmenorrhea with very painful spasms.

Magnesia muriatica. Periods are very painful and are accompanied by cramps. Worse from general hysterical spasms.

Colchycum. Dysmenorrhea, intermittent and very painful. Spasmodic pain from small of back goes to thighs and uterus. The patient screams in pain.

Magnesia phosphorica. Dysmenorrhea with convulsive pains. Pain stops with the onset of expiration. The pains pass from hot compresses to the lower abdomen.

Bromium. Pain begins with contraction of the uterus due to hormonal disorders.

Delay and scanty menstruation. Itching in genitals before menstruation – Graph.

Poverty, retardation, dark blood – Mag-c.

Menorrhagia, prematurely – Bor.

Reinforced expiration – Ferr-m.

Menstruation, dark, irritation of ovaries – Ham.

Menstrual bleeding, in black patches – Chin.

Blood dark, clotted, tarry, lumpy – Croc.

Flow like ichor, dark, liquid in emaciated persone – Sec.

Menorrhagia worse at night – Mag-c.

The blood is bright red, the flow is copious; less when walking or standing – Sabin.

Menorrhagia, profuse, bright red discharge with nausea – Ipec.

Menorrhagia after miscarriage; with menopause; strong pressure on the bottom; pain in the lower back and hips; smelly urine; insomnia after midnight, violent cramps, downward pressure. Strong irritation – Nit-ac.

Spasmodic, violent pains – Caul, Cact.
