Chamomilla. Jaundice from fits of anger.
Carduus marianus. Jaundice with dull headache, bitter taste in mouth, white tongue, medially, with red margins and tip. Vomiting of sour green liquid. The excrement is icteric, and the urine is golden.
Juglans cinerea. Jaundice with stitching pains in the region of the liver and pain under the right scapula (Nux vomica, Chelidonium and Bryonia). Shooting headache in occiput. The patient wakes up at three o’clock in the morning and cannot go back to sleep. Yellow-green stools with bile, with burning in the anus. Red spots on the skin like flea bites.
Cinchona. Jaundice in malaria. Much perspiration on the side on which he lies. Fever with three stages; chills, fever and sweat. Prolonged heat with desire to open up. Violent thirst during heat and sweat. Pronounced sweat during sleep.
Yellow skin. Exhaustion in the limbs. Prostration. He walks with difficulty and gets tired quickly. Laziness. Fainting. Relaxation of the whole body. Extraordinary ease of all movements. Nice feeling in the evening.
Worse from the slightest touch, from a breath of air, every successive day, from cold, from motion, after eating or drinking, from milk, and from loss of fluids. Better from warmth, while at rest.
Digitalis. Jaundice. Liquid excrement. Shootings in the groin when walking. Bloating and flatulence. Chill before stool. Tearing sensation from pubis to left groin. Aching pain, noise and rumbling in the abdomen. Ash-coloured diarrhoea, as in jaundice. Diarrhea with cutting in abdomen. Incurable dysentery.
Aurum mur. Persistent jaundice. Alternating white and black stools.
Aconitum. Jaundice from fright.
Sepia. Yellow skin, as in jaundice.
Plumbum met. Constipation. Yellow sclera, skin, excrement and urine.
Simple jaundice, from catarrh of the bile ducts; pain in liver and inability to lie on right side – Merc.
Sharp pains in liver, better from lying on right side – Bry. Yellow excrement, pains under angle of right scapula – Chel.
From fright or anger – Cham. Pain in the liver, white excrement – Chin. Malignant jaundice (acute yellow atrophy) – Phos.
Blood affection (yellow fever) – Crot. Chronic jaundice, without obstruction of the bile ducts – Iod.
