Argentum nitricum. Viscous mucus in the throat causes hoarseness. Warty growths in the throat feel like sharp objects. Sore throat. Itching in the throat causes coughing. Feeling of a thorn in the throat.
Belladonna. Burning and constriction in the throat. Offensive, putrid taste in throat when eating and drinking. Dry throat is very sensitive. Mouth dry and red. Swollen palate and tonsils. The mucous membranes are dry and hot.
Alumina. Constriction in throat and esophagus. Pain when swallowing. Hoarseness and rawness in the throat. Pain and dryness in the throat cause cough with thick and viscous sputum. Sore throat is better from warm food and warm drinks. Feeling of a thorn in the throat.
Aesculus. Burning, dryness and sensitivity of swollen mucous membranes.

Cantharis. Burning and rawness in larynx when expectorating mucus. Burning in throat. Burning pain in throat and stomach, with great thirst.
Lachesis. The slightest touch to the throat causes suffocation. Colic in the throat. Spasms of the larynx. Lots of mucus in throat. Cough worse after sleep. The collar is suffocating. Sensitivity of the neck to the slightest touch. The touch of the blanket is annoying. The pain from the throat passes to the ears. Paralysis of the vocal cords causes loss of voice.
