Inflammation of the gallbladder
Chelidonium. Tongue yellow with imprints of teeth; large and flabby (Merc.; Hyd.). Bitter taste, sticky saliva. Bad breath. Prefers hot drinks and food. Nausea, vomiting; relieved by very hot water. Temporary relief from food. Jaundice. Biliary colic. Bloating. Sluggishness of the bowels and fermentation in it. Sensation of transverse constriction, as from a tight rope. Enlargement of the liver. Gallstones (Berberis).
Lycopodium. Violent belching in the afternoon. Belching causes burning. Sour belching, the taste of which does not remain in the mouth. Bitter burp. Sour eructation of milk. Heartburn, especially after eating. Attacks of violent hiccough after eating. Nausea in the room. Nausea in the morning, with a bitter taste in the mouth. Heartburn. Vomiting of food and bile on an empty stomach in the morning.
Vomiting after eating, with hypersalivation. Cramping sensations in the region of the stomach. Slow digestion. Pain in stomach with trembling and numbness of hands. Dull pain in the stomach in the evening and after every meal. Contractive pain in stomach.
Berberis. Nausea before breakfast. Nausea with inclination to vomit before dinner. Belching alternates with yawning. Belching of bile. Burning, shooting pain in stomach. Shooting, aching pain in region of liver. Pressure in the region of the liver. Violent burning under the skin on the left side of the abdomen. Sensation of “boiling” in the skin. Drawing, sharp and shooting pain in left hypochondrium.
Manganum. Gallstones. Heartburn, nausea and vomiting. Better outdoors. Stool with bile and water. Sexual weakness. Violent itching of the scrotum. Menstruation is scanty in anemic women. Flushes of heat during menopause. Worse at night, from talking and from touching. Cough stops when lying down. Hemoptysis with severe anemia. The voice is hoarse. Whistling noise in the ears. Deafness.
Digitalis. Decreased appetite, eats immediately. Anorexia with clear language. Desire for bitter foods and sour drinks. Sour belching after eating. Nausea after eating. Violent nausea and vomiting of green bile. Night vomiting or morning vomiting. Vomiting of bile and hiccough. Burning and heat in stomach. Sharp pain in the umbilicus. Pricks in the stomach.
