Migraine
Sanguinaria canadensis. Migraine begins in the morning at the back of the head, moves to the right eye and ends with vomiting. Worse when moving. Flushes of heat, with reddening of the cheeks. Better after sleep. Burning in palms and soles. Better on the left side. Cough after hypothermia, with congestion of the pharynx.
Better in the dark. Night pains in the right deltoid muscle do not allow raising the arm. Worse at night in wet weather. Worse from cold. Preferential side of the lesion: right.
Ipecacuanha. The pain goes to the root of the tongue and is accompanied by nausea.
Pulsatilla. Headache in cold air when walking slowly. Headaches from mental exertion and warmth. Wandering pains. They move from one part of the head to another. The head is hot. Better outdoors. The head expands and becomes very large. Easier from constricting and squeezing the head.
Ferrum metallicum. Blood rushes to the head. The head becomes red and hot, and the feet cold. You can see how the carotid arteries pulsate. Throbbing headaches.
Sulphur. Cold feet, but on top of head there is burning, flushes of heat.
Bismuthum. Boring pain inside right temple, aggravated by pressing on it. Tearing pain in forehead and over right eye. Contractive pain in forehead and eyes. Blue circles around the eyes. In the morning, dizziness and confusion in the head. Cutting pain over right eye and in occiput. Head heavy on forehead and both temples when sitting and moving.
Sepia. Headache in the lower part of the brain. The patient cannot tolerate light and noise. Pain with nausea and vomiting. Depressed mood and irascibility with anger. Menses are scanty, late or absent. Melancholy, palpitation, throbbing headache before menstruation.
Thuja occidentalis. Sensation as if a nail were driven into the head. Diseases from vaccination (Silicea). The patient is hurried and impatient. Even the smallest things annoy him. Intense, stitching and unbearable pains. Better horizontal. The pains go from the face to the back of the head.
Antimonium tartaricum (Tartarus emeticus). Sensation, front of head tied with a bandage (Gelsemium, Mercurius, Acidum carbolicum, Sulphur). Better from cool air and motion. Beating in the right head. Drawing pain in right temple and jaw. The child does not like to be looked at or touched. Vibration and trembling in the palms and inside the head. Head eczema. Vertigo with drowsiness. Fire in the forehead. Sleepiness during the day. Bluish or purple face.
Ranunculus bulbosus. The pain splits the head in two. Worse in the evening and when going from cold to warm air and back again.
Ranunculus sceleratus. The pain drills the top of the head in a small place.
Menyanthes. Pressive headache in vertex when climbing stairs. Hands and feet are cold. The pain goes from the back of the head to the head.
Paris quadrofolia. The pain comes from the back of the head. The head seems to be incredibly large.
Strontium carb. Pain from the back of the head goes to the head.
Cocculus indicus. Pain in the back of the head. Exhaustion from insomnia. Stupor after eating. The muscles of the neck are so weak that they cannot hold up a heavy head. It seems to open and close.
