Acute swelling of the larynx

Iodum. Acute and chronic laryngitis with marked hoarseness. Laryngitis with films. Inhalation is difficult from spasm of the larynx and from films. Inhalation is done in wave-like shocks. Loose, hard cough (Hepar). Hoarseness. The voice disappears. The child throws his head back to make breathing easier. Worse in the morning. Dark people with dark hair and eyes. Sickness from wet weather.

Hoarseness or complete aphonia. Filmy croup with wheezing. Children with dark hair and eyes. Inflammation of the larynx. The slightest exertion causes considerable difficulty in breathing. Cough with secretion of clear mucous sputum streaked with blood.

Cutting pain on breathing and coughing. Pneumonia with great heat and great thirst. Spasms of the larynx. Wheezing cough with rusty sputum. Severe anxiety and restlessness. Hemoptysis of bright red blood.

Bloody mucous sputum. Stroke with intense full pulse. Pulsation of the carotid arteries. High temperature with full pulse. The need for large quantities of cold liquid.

Chlorum. Spasm of the glottis. Coryza with watery, excoriating coryza. Pain inside the nose and near the wings. Small, putrid sores in the mouth. Yellowish-white aphthae in the mouth. Stomatitis with offensive breath. Fear of the disease that threatens him. Pain from the top of the head descends to the left side of the body. Worse after eating. Impotence.

Violent cough, with sensation as if hot water were running down the bronchi. Cough with bloody and frothy sputum. Should be covered with a blanket up to the face. Perspiration day and night on the chest, with a sour smell. Cough with much sputum.

Worse in the morning. Hard, croupy cough with copious expectoration. Worse, from dry, cold wind. Worse in the morning. Suppurating skin. Cracks in the feet. The skin is extremely sensitive to open air.

Sweats on the slightest movement. Great chilliness in open air. Great weakness in the back. Mercury antidote. Worse at night, from cold wind, from cold food, from open air and from motion. Best in warm, humid weather.

Apis. Croup with hoarse, suffocating cough. Drawing down in small of back before menstruation. Complete absence of sweat and prolonged sleep in fever. Unusually white, translucent skin is sensitive to the slightest touch.

Varicose veins burn strongly with phlebitis. Urticaria burns like a bee sting. Anasarca and scanty urination. Worse in cold weather, at night, when overheated and in closed rooms. Better in cold water and outdoors.

Antimonium tartaricum. Asphyxia in a child with croup and pneumonia. Copious accumulation of mucus in bronchi. Rattling and whistling in the larynx. Respiration with loud bubbling of mucus. Strong apathy and collapse. The chest, forearms and thighs are covered with bright red papules. The skin is sensitive to weather changes.

Chill all day long, with profuse sweat. Profuse night sweats after fever, with weakness and convulsions. Worse in damp cold weather, when warmed up in bed. Better in the open cold air and from moistening the affected parts.

Laryngitis, sharp, hacking cough, with restlessness, anguish and fever, Acon. Spong – barking cough, hoarseness, loss of voice. Kali-bi – with thick, viscous sputum, difficult to pass. When the cough became looser, but there was still hoarseness, Hep.

Loss of voice, weakness of vocal muscles, hard cough, urging to urinate, Caust.

Hoarse cough, choking symptoms, dry skin, restlessness, anguish and fear; cold from dry windy weather, Acon. Dry, hoarse, whistling, barking cough, cyx rales, worse before midnight, Spong.

Choking cough in children, in the middle of the night, with rough whistling, but no croup, Samb. Barking cough with wheezing; worse, about midnight, Hep. Very difficult inhalation, almost choking while coughing, Brom. Thick, viscous, yellowish mucus, difficult to vomit, Kali-bi.

Whistling like saw-saw breath, dry barking cough, in swarthy children; child grabs his neck with his hands – Iod. The child lies with the neck stretched out, the head thrown back – Ant-t. Great prostration – Ars.
